Show Intro!
Good morning, talk about morning and week and how I literally don’t really do much outside of just working, and of course working on my show!
We have the usual fun bits today so stay tuned for the weather and traffic, we will hit the traffic on the next break when most 9-5 people are already at work and are still upset about their commute.
Email us staff@bottlerag.org for anything you wanna talk about!
Summery vibes for the morning

US 6 just south of I70 off I25 east and westbound lanes closed due to crash

News:
Astronomy.com Article: July 2025: What’s in the sky this month? Venus tracks through Taurus, more Titan transits at Saturn, and Jupiter reappears
Summer nights are always the best times to go out and view the stars. That is what I enjoy doing, and I recommend going out and doing the same, and usually for bigger things you don’t even need any equipment.
Here are the major highlights from this article of things you can see this month:
July’s night sky offers observations of Mercury and Mars in the evening, Uranus and Neptune near Saturn, and Venus and Uranus in the morning. Saturn will also display two Titan shadow transits.
Several planets reach significant celestial events: Mercury reaches greatest eastern elongation on the 4th, Mars crosses from Leo into Virgo on the 27th, Neptune is positioned near Saturn throughout the month, and Jupiter reappears late in the month. Pluto reaches opposition on the 25th.
The month presents opportunities to observe various celestial phenomena including multiple shadow transits of Saturn’s moon Titan, Venus’s changing phases, and the contrasting brightness of Venus and Uranus, aiding Uranus’ identification.
Southern Delta Aquariids meteor showers starting the 12th and build through to the end of the month producing about 12 meteors per hour
This is joined by annual Perseids on July 17th which is visible about an hour before dawn look southwest.
