You just heard a variety of songs. We started with Dirge by Opium. You then heard. You then heard wilt. And then we played Cut Me Open by, Jennifer. And we wrapped up that set with Judy Is a Punk by the Ramones. And that song, as well as Here Comes Your Man, which you heard at the start of the show.
We’re both played on vinyl. That’s right. We work with a variety of mediums here at Bottle rag.org, and we are skilled disc jockeys. Just flipping discs left and right all over the place. I also mentioned earlier that we love to support local artists on this channel, on this website, on this station, this multimedia platform. And in doing so, we like to both play music by local artists, and we like to support those artists by covering their shows and their releases.
This weekend I got to go to a show with Brandi Wine as well as a couple other local bands, including Tonight Is the Far Reaches and Ends, so it was such a treat. If you want to read up on more of that, you can read the article. I just posted about it yesterday, on the very website that you are listening to this broadcast on Bottle rag.org.
I got to interview the boys in the band, and they told me about some of their influences and one name that came up quite frequently was Zeppelin. LED Zeppelin, a band you are likely familiar with or you’ve at least heard that name before. So in the next set, I’m going to play a song from Brandy wine, and then a song from another local artist, Juno Rosa.
And then you can expect a Zeppelin song Coming to You from a vinyl record. That’s right, a vinyl record.

We won’t. Yeah. I was just talking about the holidays. We we had some festivities, as as everyone does this year, Christmas and Hanukkah overlapped for all those, secular, Christmas loving Jews out there such as myself. Great time. And of course, there’s always New Year’s, which is a fun time for everyone. I, had the frontman of this next band over to my New Year’s Eve party.
And he was a great time. He’s a friend of the show, and he Irish goodbye died early in the night, which I respect. Because people give you a hard time when you, leave a New Year’s Eve party early. This is Adam. Send a man with you. Make me want to kill myself.

And I just found out that there was some drama with Mac DeMarco, because at some point he released an album with a title having to do with Cowboys with a lead track called Nobody. Shortly after, Mitski released her album Be the Cowboy with with the feature track Nobody. Well, I’m a bigger Minsky fan than I am a mac DeMarco fan, and I’ll tell you that for free.

Just like I’ll tell you everything for free, because this is independent and underground radio and we don’t have ads because who would put an ad on something like this? Nothing is Easy by Jethro Tull except playing that song. Because it is the first track on side B of that vinyl. So playing that song is actually quite easy. At the top of that set you heard Worms by Viagra boys, I have really been enjoying that song. It’s a little dark, but it’s it’s nice. It’s got a cowboy vibe.
