It’s a rainy day today which means that there is actually quite a bit less traffic. You know, today is the kinda day people wake up and think, ahh I’m not going to work today so that is nice.
Sometimes the rain can mean that the roads are less safe, so like more crashes. Today, however, that is not the case. I guess that is also due to the lower volume of people on the roads.

PHOTOS: At the Taco Bell 50k Ultramarathon, runners eat across Denver
So we have a Taco Bell 50k? I thought this was kinda crazy, and also I’m kinda sad that I missed it. I will definitely be training to give it a go next year though. The rules are just perfect, and take a look at these photos!
NOT ALONE IN THE MINES: The legend of Colorado’s “Tommyknockers”
Okay, Colorado cryptids?! Yeah, we have those. So, there’s old mine stories about these little guys called Tommyknockers. They’re like little goblin like creatures who play little tricks on mine going people. They’re a silly little bunch but overall pretty harmless.

There are a ton of really cool things happening this week, and well, every week. I for one am going to try to go to the Great American Beer Festival as I know someone who is presenting some of their beer there.
