CBS News article: Fake Psychologist sentenced to 4 years in Colorado state prison
So essentially this person faked credentials to get a job. after doing a not so stellar job she started getting complaints. It came out that she had faked her PhD to get the job as a family evaluator to determine child custody time for parents and also worked at the Colorado State Mental Health Hospital and counseled inmaktes while working for the Department of Corrections.
Really taking fake it till you make it all the way.
She’s going to be spending 4 years in the Department of Corrections.

This conference brought together more than 4,000 people, from scientists to policy makers and even artists and advocates.
Colorado has officially decriminalized mushrooms meaning there’s so much more coming from this. There’s plenty of research happening and I find the research on psychological treatments from this to be really interesting given my background in psychology but that’s just me. Of course this event highlights all of those things and even brings to light how people use psychedelics for art and creativity and traditional rituals.

Weather
Today we will be alternating between clouds and sun, there will of course be some afternoon thunderstorms which may bring flash flooding, hail, and potentially even a tornado.
Currently it’s 68F (20C) but it feels like 75F (24C) and is partly sunny; winds heading north to northwest and air quality is of course poor.
This week in weather: Expect spotty thunderstorms through the week with this weekend getting much warmer and sunny then back to thunderstorms by monday.
Tune in next tuesday to find out about the weather for that day and of course for the following week!
