Let me tell you, my morning was off to a rough start. It began like any other night, a warm summer breeze coming through my open windows as i drift off to sleep. Suddenly, at about 3:30 in the AM I awoke to the sound of hail and thunder smacking down around my house. I scrambled to close the windows and ended up not really going back to sleep. Thank you for coming to my TED talk; I do know this is all different than what I actually said but you’re getting flavor text from editor Dj b.

Michael Royce Sparks, 62, murdered neighbors Daniel Menard, 79, and wife Stephanie Menard, 73 in august 2024.
Of course the headline is crazy and the story is intense and sad but I was drawn to this for the headline. Of course the hotdog did not cause the crime but it was the nail in the head. Sparks evidently hated the Menards due to a number of disputes. According to a fellow inmate Sparks stated that the Hotdog was a jab at him, which made him feel like he was only worth a dollar hot dog.
Be kind to your neighbors cause they’re always there and could be unhinged over the little things.
Goliath is a 135 year old tortoise with official records stating his birthday is June 15th between 1885 and 1890. This tortoise has definitely seen some things.
One of eight eggs hatched on January 27th making him and Sweet Pea ( The mother, an 85-100 year old Galapagos Tortoise) parents and the first offspring of this kind to have hatched at Zoo Miami.
BBC Article: Gull sips man’s coffee before stealing his mug
So basically a guy who has been building up infrastructure against birds at houses in Porthleven got dunked on by a seagull. On june 3rd he stopped for a coffee and suddenly a seagull was caught drinking it. Before he could move the gull swiped the mug, flew around, and eventually landed in the water. The man, Darren Pardoe, watched in awe as the mug sank in the water.

Thunderstorms passed through colorado last night early in the morning bringing hail and high winds. Expect the thunderstorms, high winds, and potential hail to proceed through later this morning and into the next couple days.
Looking ahead we can see record high temps coming later in the week with a peak of 104F (40C)
( all subsequent temperatures are in Fahrenheit as I am American, however readers of notes will receive celsius conversions, your welcome – Editor Dj b)
this saturday breaking previous record of 99F (37C) set in 2007.
Air quality is fair, which is actually much better than it has been recently which is likely due to the high storm cell that wiped through colorado last night.

go ahead and apply this to other “alt identities”
I would say goth like other alt identities can be open to interpretation. Generally I think any identity broadly is a classification of vibes, if you feel like you match those vibes, even just a little, then perhaps you fit into that identity. From there it can be a great way to find likeminded people who you know you’ll likely vibe with. To that extent I would say that I am personally goth on some level, mostly in the sense of the general ideals held by the goth identity like individuality, celebrating differences, doing things against the grain and being true to yourself; that is also what I believe a goth to be and what makes goth goth. My description may be different than yours, but that I think is the whole point of it as it’s up to interpretation, or perhaps this was just me rambling, sorry.
